Online guitar tuition includes:

• Fun graded solo and ensemble music featuring rock, classical,s blues, improvisation and contemporary styles to encourage interest and musical appreciation.
• A variety of  finger exercises, picking and strumming techniques fostering creativity and agility.
• Sight reading to encourage fluent playing ability.
• Music theory to promote an understanding of musical terminology, symbols and notation.
• Listening / aural work to nurture musicality and help develop a good musical ear.

 

Your child's progress is constantly monitored and encouraged by your child's guitar teacher.

 

Assessment days and AMEB exams are available.

Requirement for Online Lessons

Online music lessons are done using a two-way video call between the student and teacher and requires a suitable internet connection, a computer, tablet or mobile phone and free software for Skype, Zoom or Facetime.

 

If the music tuition requires an instrument like a guitar or keyboard, the student must have their own instrument.

 

Skype and Zoom software / App is available for most devices, including Windows / Mac Computers, Tablets / iPads and Mobile Phones. To make a video call can require the student's parent to create an account.

 

FaceTime video calls can be made between two Apple devices like a Mac Computer, iPad or iPhone.
