Music Lessons

We offer high quality music educational tuition programs for children. Our popular classes include

• For preschool aged children: Kindy Piano Classes, introductory Kindy Piano Workshops, Beginner Instrument Programme and Singing.
• For primary and high school aged children: Beginner Instrument Programme, Keyboard / Piano, Guitar, Singing classes and Keyboard/Guitar Combo class.

All classes are offered 7 days a week, including Saturday and Sunday, at locations in the suburbs of Glenwood and in Baulkham Hills. Classes are now offered at Glenwood on Monday, Tuesday and Sunday.

 

We also offer AMEB and HSC practise exams and assessments, try out sessions, AMEB and HSC exam preparation, assessment days and specialised programs:  Accelerated Piano, Beginner Instrument and Music Theory Courses.

About the Teacher and Principal

At Children's Music Academy your child is learning from one of the most highly trained and experienced music teachers in the Hills District.

 

The Principal Annette Anderson has a Bachelor of Music Education or B.Mus.Ed from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and an Associate Of Music Australia or  A.Mus.A  from the AMEB.  Annette is also a Sydney Conservatorium Accredited teacher and Department of Education Approved teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience in preschools, primary schools and high schools. She has a great passion for music and a love of teaching children.

 

Annette has had broad experience in teaching children in a variety of educational settings  and takes great interest in working personally with each child. Annette has also worked as an examiner for the Australian Music Examinations Board.

 

The Principal is present and teaching in weekly groups. This means you don't have to worry about having different teachers every lesson and you need not be concerned about the quality of  teachers.

 

It is important to note that teacher qualifications and experience is of vital importance when considering your child's musical progress and motivation. There is a big difference between a formally trained and accredited music teacher and musician who has only completed a few AMEB exam grades!
